Hi KY,
Why dont you consider, let Kairos publish your future new books?
Well....it's not whether I would like to publish with Kairos, it is whetehr Kairos would like my publish my work... :-)
I think Kairos would happy to publish your works. maybe you could make them become internationally renown, haha!
but maybe, much lesser of copyright loyalties you will earn with Kairos. haha..
Hahaha....Kairos is already internationally known!
When we publish, we don't even think of royalty...if we consider royalty, we will never publish...hahaha
really no jokes?I am surprised!
I thought publish with the famous publisher would generally, generate good income and fame..
haha! now I know. no wonder most seminary lecturers dont bother to write and publish. haha, painstaking job but no handsome money....
First of all, the circulation of academic books is very limited and the print run is very small. Secondly, this translate to the high cost of production. As a result, royalty is extremely low.
Of course you can make big money if you write popular books that appeal to many - but this is not the path that many scholars will take...
Maybe I should reconsider...haha
I think Joel Osteen and Rick warren, both earn good from their books,,, haha!
but I dont read their books...reason? dont understand...
