Moving From Youth Camps to Family Camps.....
About 6-10 years ago, I used to speak regularly at youth and young adults meetings and camps. These days, there is hardly (if any) invitation to speak at youth and young adults meetings and camps.
But on the other hard, I find invitations to speak at family camps have been increasing in recent months.
What does this suggest? It can only mean one thing - that I am fast aging.....

ai yo I must prepare to be speaking at senior citizen's camps!
oh my..so this is how my *future* will be like... might start with going often to youth/young adult camps, then adults, and then senior adults..
*gulp*
:)
may be youth dun understanding NT chim talk? hehe...
MU students told me, dun understand NG Kam weng..., I said, not surprise, becos I also dun understand kam weng.
I think nowadays, youth are so different, they like comics, hill songs, joseph prince, kong hee, but not theology, not bible studies..., so they would not have foundation to listen solid stuff....
sorry for my outrageous, perhaps biased comment..
anyhow, I am so happy to learn that, KY, you are so sought after speaker, ministering to the family camps and etc...
I lately check with canaanland, find out that they dont keep books from "fortess press", how come? depressed..
I mean, Fortress Press.
maybe you are simply not as "cute" looking? LOL
Hi Soo Inn,
You are not there yet.... :-)
Hi Sze Zeng,
Part of "growing pains"?
Hi Davinci,
Haha.....NT does not have to be chim....
I know Canaanland carries books by Fortress before. I bought some of the books published by Fortress from Canaanland before. Perhaps they don't carry them now.
Hi Paul,
You mean I am no longer "cute"? Oh dear.....
cute chubby face doesn't go too well with whitening hair - I presume that teaching and writing has added this new feature :-)
And perhaps you may have inadvertently snuck in too many subtle theological terms and concepts that made many of today's youth scratch their heads too much? :-)
Hi Paul,
I think it's not the case of whitening hair, but thinning hair!
