Can A Bibliophile Resist This?

I have told myself that I should resist buying books for this trip of mine to Cambridge. But when a bibliophile sees this, can he resist temptation?

Woh.Is Borders in Cambridge closing? It offers the only decent cup of coffee and free internet in town.

Anthony is correct. Buy. buy. I hope Britain still have their low postal rates.

I know of a pastor, likes reading and buying books so much,,,,but only can afford to photo copy books,,,,

this is the predicament of full time workers,,,,

Hi Anthony,
Not that much selection in the religion section, but pretty decent stuff in classics!

There are some good deals....but short of cash dy - can only admire :-)

Hi Alex,
Borders UK is under liquidation. It was announced last week, and lo and behold, the Cambridge store is closing down.

Hi Von Rad,
I can't afford to buy books, especially books that I read - they are way too expensive. I buy them when there are specials. Hence the need for me to "enjoy" the facilities at Tyndale House :-)

KY, God will forgives financial imprudence if it's 50% Borders discount. Plunge into it!!!

Hi Sze Zeng,

I would like to plunge into it, but my wallet says otherwise. So I only managed to get a discounted copy of the book of common prayer that I have been eyeing for some time.

Glad Sounds is having a sales. There are some good books for the picking, including a few titles from Continuum. Price is cheap too.

Hi Israel,
Thanks for this info. But I may have to give Glad Sounds a miss - this trip to Cambridge has caused a rather big dent in my wallet - so I would be able to afford anymore books for a while :-(
