Passing Away of Michael Goulder
I am sorry to hear that another British NT scholar has passed away. Michael Goulder passed away on Jan 6, 2010. He was 82.
This remind me that most bible scholars and theologians live to very old age, so the budding NT scholar could expect reasonably lengthy years of fruitful and prolific research to come,,,,,,
That's in the West where there is excellent and affordable healthcare, not to mention good healthcare insurance scheme...plus generous sabbatical for research and writing....not so sure about Malaysia though - our healthcare insurance for fulltime worker is....well, I better stop.
