Been Quiet for A While

Yes, I have been quiet for a while. Since I returned from the camp more than a week ago, I was swamped with loads of stuff and tight deadline. I am still going through the proofs for my book, which should be done within the next couple of days.

The only comfort I have this week is that it's reading week - hence no classes. It gives me some space to catch up with work.

I will be back blogging this week!

Hi 不肖生 Sceptics,

Thanks for asking. Actually,I am co-teaching the course on Advanced Hermenuetics and Homilectics for the DMin programme. I will be covering the Hermeneutics part while my colleague, Dr Philip Siew, will cover the part on Homiletics.

Honestly, preaching is not my greatest strength. And preching is not really something that flows naturally from me. If given a choice, I'd rather teach than preach. But in the Malaysian contxt, this is almost not possible. As long as we are in ministry, we have to teach and preach. So i need more grace and even more grace from the Lord to preach...
