Camp in Port Dickson
This weekend, I will be at the Golden Sands Baptist Resort, Port Dickson, speaking at the Klang Chinese Methodist Young Adults Camp. I am looking forward to having a good time with the young adults.
This is a combination of both the English and Chinese congregation. I can't preach in Chinese - I am not fluent in Chinese. So I preached in English and the sermons were interpreted into Chinese.
bravo sir! not easy to command both lecture chair in seminary and camp pulpit...
but got to confess; i got bias against theology lecturers in terms of preaching...usually they speak boring sermon in terms of content and delivering skill...haha!,,,making ppl sleep..
... not everyone lah! dont be angry...
but I seriously think, sir, you are exceptional...
I think they dont know what the audience want, and just want the later to buy what they want to give..haha! this is contrary to the interactive model of communication...
preaching, is an event whereby all parties got involved, making it happen....
Hi Kar Yong, It was worth driving down to PD to meet up with you. Teng Hooi and myself appreciate time spent over our cups of coffee. Wow! You blend in well with the young people. But of course you are not that old yourself. Thanks for the time. Hope to buy you "bah kut teh" in Klang one of these days.
Hi Anita, It was really good to catch up with you and Teng Hooi after all these years - I am so glad to hear that you have finally graduated with your MCS. You have come a long way.
God's blessings on you as you and Teng Hooi serve him.
