I have always enjoyed the scholarship of Richard Hays. In fact, Hays' methodology of reading the scriptures lays the foundation for my doctoral work.

I'm blessed by "Sense and nonsense in NT studies". It's a concise summary of the 'happenings' in the NT studies in our current time.
The one on politics is very engaging. Hauerwas was shouting and shouting. And he is really an insightful person, able to interpret situation from awkward yet critical perspective. And Hays give practical note from the NT on how to elect politician.
